New Jersey's "Liquor Store"

We need to harden things up..Last week I saw a punk band from New Jersey that I was really impressed with.. Liquor Store.

I really liked their song “Pumpin” which you can sample by clicking on the song title below.

New NY Hard Times Issue is Out

The latest NY Hard Times issue is out and it features good stuff as usual.

If you didn’t get enough or missed it before, you can see Punk Outlaw’s Reviews of the “Black Cat Psychobilly Festival” in Los Angeles and the “Bad Brains” and “The Bots” show at the Afro-Punk Festival in Brooklyn over the summer.

Music You Should Hear.. La Música Es Necesario Escuchar

Los Suziox (Medellin, Colombia) “Armas Silenciosa”

and

Rudos Wild (Montevideo, Uruguay) “No Toleramos”

In case you haven’t heard of these bands, check em out:

1) Los Suziox – Straight up punk rock from Medellin, Colombia. This song “Armas Silenciosa” (Silent Arms) is about as good a punk song as I’ve ever heard. I’m working on getting the lyrics posted and translated as they are very powerful as with all Los Suziox songs. But in the meantime, check it out.

2) Rudos Wild – Punkabilly from way, way down south in Montevideo, Uruguay. These guys combine Johnny Cash and Social Distortion with their own brand of Latin punk. This song “No Toleramos” (We Don’t Tolerate) is about as intense as it gets and good to listen to over and over again if you got some anger issues like I sometimes do (don’t we all?)
